THE USE OF MODELED TALK TOWARD STUDENTS’ MOTIVATION AND VOCABULARY

This study is intended to analyze the use of Modeled Talk towards students’ motivation and vocabulary mastery at first semester seventh grade SMPN 1 Sakra Barat. applied quantitative research method with experimental design. was conducted on October November 2021. The total population students were 120 students. decided two classes as sample research, namely control group group. In treated by modeled talk PBL toward students' mastery. Both groups had been given pre-test post-test. selected using simple random sampling technique. From this dependent variable also acts predicator support result data analysis confirmed that descriptive statistic, there are different in between post experiment (82.40 > 61.87). it indicates technique effecting learning target, meanwhile, ANOVA claims value underlined f-value higher α = 0.05 (f-value 49,22 0.05). point Ho which should be rejected accepted, means no effect motivation. Regarding score analysis, known 0.05, indicate acceptance (Null Hypothesis). correlational vocabulary, proves significant correlation mastery, could seen from 0.10 p-value (sig.) 0.752 0.05. confirms alternative hypothesis rejected.
